Chris is the founder of Yoko Consulting in McLean, VA, a suburb of the nation’s capital. Yoko Consulting is an interactive marketing consultancy that provides high level strategic consulting as well as project management and execution. Chris manages the firm’s day to day operations as well as serving clients in the creation and implementation of their marketing campaigns. Chris is a student of anyone willing to teach. He started Lunch A Day (not so recently), which is a social media project that strives to simply interview anyone willing to answer the questions. It is based on the concept of never eating lunch alone, as well as recognizing that everyone has gone through something different and therefore has a lesson of some sort to share.

In this episode of the Be Real Show, Chris and Travis open up the show discussing the inspiration behind his business, Yoko Consulting. It is so hard to calculate impact; there is an opportunity for someone to create a good net score that would take into account environmental impact and employee wellness. Chris works with his clients to find out how they want to leave an impact on their world; he works to help them understand who benefits from these impacts. Whenever you can tell stories, the business can have more meaningful connections with the community. Ongoing engagement with clients for Chris includes rebuilding their website, perfecting a mobile app, and continuous content production. Then, Chris explains why he only works with companies which he feels aligned with. Stay tuned to hear Chris answer the rapid-fire questions, including why he wants to share a meal with Neil Gaiman.
